Frequently Asked Questions
Where's the wedding happening?
We're saying "I do" for the weekend at the beautiful Langkloof Roses, just outside the charming town of Wellington. Get ready for a romantic escape in the heart of nature!
Address:
36 Slangrivier Rd, Wellington, Cape Town, 7655
Is there a dress code?
Yes! We'd love for all our guests to dress according to our color palette with a theme of Relaxed Glam. Think elegant, stylish, and effortless. You'll find all the details in the Dress Code section of our website.
What will the weather be like?
March in Wellington still falls in the warm summer season, but as we all know—Cape Town weather loves to keep us on our toes! You might get sunshine, you might get a little drizzle. An umbrella or a stylish shawl wouldn't be the worst idea!
Where should I stay?
Our venue offers accommodation, and we've booked it out for selected guests. Your personal invite will confirm if you have a stay reserved at the venue. For everyone else, we've put together a list of nearby accommodations—book early to secure your spot!
Can I bring my kids?
We absolutely adore your little ones! However, we have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only affair (with the exception of immediate family). If you have any questions about this, your personal invite will specify.
Who should I contact if I have wedding-related questions?
We'll be setting up a WhatsApp group for updates and FAQs, but if you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to either Werner or Mikayla directly. We're happy to help!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony—you can come as early as 2:45 PM. This gives you time to park (unless you're using provided transport), sign our guestbook, and find your seat.
If you arrive late, you'll have to wait until cocktail hour to be seated—so don't be that guest sneaking in mid-vows!
What time should I head home?
When the party winds down at midnight! But don't worry, we'll make sure you have plenty of time to celebrate before then.
Can I bring a plus one?
We'd love to host everyone, but we're keeping our wedding intimate. Your invite will specify if a plus one has been included for you. We appreciate your understanding as we create a close-knit celebration with our nearest and dearest.
How do I RSVP?
RSVP via the link in the RSVP tab on our website and follow the prompts. Each guest must complete their own form. If you're unable to attend, please still complete the form and select "Regretfully Decline" so we know.
When do I need to RSVP by?
The final RSVP deadline is November 28 2025, but we'll be sending gentle reminders throughout the year—so keep an eye out!
Will you be serving alcohol?
Absolutely! Expect welcome drinks, signature cocktails at cocktail hour, and a curated wine selection at each table. You can also grab additional alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages from the bar. Cheers!
What if I don't RSVP in time?
Unfortunately, if you miss the RSVP deadline, we won't be able to accommodate you. Our vendors and venue require a confirmed guest count, so please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot. We'd hate to celebrate without you!
Can I take photos?
We kindly request an unplugged wedding—not just for the ceremony, but for the entire event. We want everyone to be fully present, soaking in the love, laughter, and unforgettable moments without screens in the way.
But don't worry—we've got it covered! Our amazing photographer will be capturing all the candid magic, and to make it even more special, we'll have a film camera available for guests to snap their own creative shots. We can't wait to see the wedding through your eyes, and of course, we'll share all the photos with you afterward!
So, put your phones away, grab a drink, and enjoy the celebration in real-time!
